Burnaby offers international students the opportunity to study alongside local Canadian students in its elementary and high schools. We also offer a short term Canadian high school experience program of 5 or 10 months. Burnaby School District is proud of its strength in academic programming and achievements. It has one of the largest Advanced Placement (AP) programs in Canada and also offers the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma. The Visual and Performing Arts program in Burnaby is the most diverse in British Columbia. Burnaby students excel in sports and many school teams have won local, provincial and national championships. Campbell River School District'

Campbell River School District has about 5500 students. We have two high schools, with approximately 900 and 750 students each. Both high schools have strong academic focuses, with graduates going to a wide variety of universities, some even receiving scholarships to prestigious universities, such as Harvard and Brown. Our graduation rate is in the top 20% of British Columbia. Langley School District'

Langley School District is governed by the British Columbia Ministry of Education. Government-certified teachers teach a complete government accredited and approved curriculum in all of the schools. We have been welcoming international students since 1989. Our International Student Program offers a wide range of education options which include Elementary, Secondary and Summer English Learning Programs. Students who want to come for the secondary program (grade 8 to 12) can begin their studies at the start of the school year in September, or in February at the start of the second semester. Elementary program welcomes a limited number of international students to study in selected elementary schools (kindergarten to grade 7). The District requires children under the age of 13 to reside with a parent for the duration of their studies. Our schools offer an excellent learning environment with full range of academic and elective courses for international students to choose. We also have full ELL support from beginner to advanced levels. Each student is assessed upon arrival and is provided appropriate levels of English language and academic instruction depending on their abilities and goals. Each secondary school has a dedicated International Student Coordinator that works closely with students to make sure their academic, social and emotional needs are addressed so they stay focus on their studies.

Saanich Schools'

In the Saanich Schools International Program students feel a sense of accomplishment, personnel fulfillment and a boost in self-confidence. Central Okanagan Public Schools (District 23)'

Central Okanagan Public Schools (District No. 23) is the 5th largest in the province and includes the communities of Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, and Peachland. Victoria's Sooke School District (No. 62) serves the Greater Victoria Westshore communities of Colwood, Langford, the Highlands and Bear Mountain as well as the seaside community of Sooke. The district is one of the fastest growing school districts in the province. Sooke Schools offer a comprehensive curriculum which includes academic and elective courses. Comox Valley Schools'

Canada’s education system continues to be ranked in the top five of all countries in the world. BC is always ranked top 3 in Canada. Our students are taught by BC Government certified teachers. We accept students of all ages – Kindergarten through to Grade 12. Our Homestay Program begins at grade six and students younger than this must live with an adult relative. In our middle and secondary schools, and like all students in British Columbia, our students have access to all courses in the curriculum plus Hockey, Golf, Outdoor Education and Tourism Academies. International Students may enrol for one semester, one year, or two or more years to complete a British Columbia Grade 12 Graduation Diploma. Whatever duration international students choose, we can design a program that meets their language ability, interests and future study goals. To ensure that each student has a positive and memorable study-abroad experience, we offer a comprehensive support system for our students including our district managed homestay program, personal and academic counselling and full immersion in all classes, sports teams and clubs alongside Canadian students. Long-term Programs: Elementary, Middle and SecondaryThe International Education Program provides long-term academic studies for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 (ages 5–18). The regular school year begins every September and ends in June. International students may enter the school in either September or January. Students will have a deep immersion experience. Well funded by the BC government, public school provide an exciting selection of academic and elective courses, as well as enriching extra-curricular activities. The International Education Program gives overseas students the opportunity to study together with Canadian students. Students may enroll in a wide variety of excellent academic courses and electives including fine arts, languages and computer studies, fashion design, dance and robotics programs.
