Families provide a warm, caring environment and the homestay parent is also the custodian. Students have a private bedroom but share the rest of the house with the family. Three meals a day plus healthy snacks are provided.
There are no more than 2 international students per family and no one else who speaks the student’s native language. Families are located a short distance from the student’s school.
Every school has a wide range of club activities – sports (skiing, mountain biking, basketball, soccer, volleyball and more), music, dance, theatre, volunteering, computers, etc. This is an excellent way for international students to make friends with local students.
