There are many restaurants, shopping areas, recreation centres and public libraries in North Vancouver. We are proud of our clean air and water, safe community, and extensive transit network. All of our secondary schools are located within a half hour from a local ski mountain. North Vancouver is an easy 15-minute transit ride to the world-class city of Vancouver.
Our Homestay Companies will find the right family for the student, and are there to offer assistance and support when necessary. Families provide a warm, caring environment, and the homestay parent is also the custodian. Students have a private bedroom but share the rest of the house with the family. Three meals a day plus healthy snacks are provided.
There are no more than 2 international students per family and no one else who speaks the student’s native language. Families are located a short distance from the student’s school.

International students will enjoy a healthy lifestyle while engaging in many outdoor activities. The nearby North Shore mountains (Grouse Mountain, Mount Fromme, and Mount Seymour) provide amazing opportunities for skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers, and hikers.
