Our school district is part of the public education school system operated by the Province of British Columbia’s Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education ensures that there is a consistent delivery of education throughout all sixty provincial school districts.
Our International Student Program encompasses Grades 9 to 12, Full Year Programs (10 months) and One Semester Programs (5 months) in fully integrated programs with Canadian students. ELL (English Language Learner) programs are available at all schools to support the needs of international students.

The area of Terrace and Kitimat is home to the great outdoors. Located in the majestic coast mountains, Terrace and Kitimat is known for its extraordinary beauty. Terrace and area is home to approximately 16,000 people while over 8,000 people call Kitimat their home. With a mild climate all year, residents enjoy the great outdoors all year round.
Enjoy the benefits of being in a smaller community and living with caring and friendly families. Host families are the backbone of our program in providing a true experience of the Canadian culture. Students will experience new foods (salmon and wildmeats), new activities, and way of life of our Indigenous people.
