Canadian Rockies Public Schools welcomes students from around the world to study in one of the most beautiful places in the world – the Canadian Rockies! Our Banff Community High School is located in Banff National Park which is Canada’s oldest national park established in 1885 and famous for its surreally colored lakes, majestic mountains, and endless outdoor adventures. Located in the Town of Canmore is Canmore Collegiate High School. Canmore is flanked on all sides by the front ranges of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Canmore is 1.5 hours from the Calgary International Airport (YYC) and 30 minutes to Banff.
Canadian Rockies Public Schools Homestay Program is run internally by our own program staff and provides international students the opportunity to live in a safe, secure environment with a Canadian family while attending school. All students are placed with carefully selected host families who are within walking distance of their schools or a designated school bus stop. We provide regular contact with the student and family to ensure full support and satisfaction with placement
Once a month our international student program organizes a get together for all our students – doing various kinds of social events, outings, learning and exploration of our surrounding areas. The activities we offer will vary slightly from year to year but guaranteed is that the outings are a fun way to connect as an international community. Many of the events we do become highlights during our students’ time here. Just imagine the exciting excursions that are possible in the magnificent Canadian Rockies…
