CAPS-I is a non-profit association comprised of publicly-funded schools or groups of schools with established international student programs. Currently, 133 public school district/boards from across Canada are represented by the organization.

Membership

Membership in CAPS-I is open to any Canadian publicly-funded school with an established international student program. The membership fees for the 2017-2018 school year are as follows:

Associate Membership = $1,000 CAD (for a maximum of 2 years until in compliance with Full Membership qualifications.)

Full Members =

$1,500 CAD based on 0-50 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) fee-paying international students enrolled

$1,750 CAD based on 51-200 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) fee-paying international students enrolled

$2,000 based on 201-400 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) fee-paying international students enrolled

$2,500 based on 401-800 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) fee-paying international students enrolled

$3,000 based on 800+ Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) fee-paying international students enrolled

Full members have one vote at all meetings, which are held annually.

Once an application for membership has been received, approved and membership dues paid, a confirmation email will be sent to the primary contact.  This email will contain information required to access the ‘Members Only’ section of the website (which contains a wealth of ‘best practice’ and industry info.)
