Red Deer Catholic Regional schools are public schools in Alberta. Our focus is on the student and our academic achievement levels are consistently at or above the provincial level in all subjects. Our international program is available for students from grade 8-12 unless the student is accompanied by a parent. We offer a strong academic program in a small, safe community in the province of Alberta, Canada. We offer the following:

  • Complete Alberta Education High School Curriculum providing access to post secondary institutions from around the world.
  • English as a Second Language levels 1-5
  • French Immersion Program from Grade 8-12.
  • Baseball Sport Academy
  • Second Language Courses in French, Spanish and Japanese
  • Full range of extra curricular athletic and fine arts programs. Career courses including mechanics, cosmetology and construction.

Red Deer is a small, safe community of 110,000 people located in the province of Alberta. It is midway between two international airports located in Edmonton and Calgary. Red Deer has many walking trails, indoor and outdoor facilities. as well as numerous recreation areas. Canyon Ski Hill is 15 minutes from the city of Red Deer.

Red Deer Catholic provides a quality homestay program that focuses on student care and attention as part of the family. Students are provided with their own bedroom and access to a computer. They are also provided three meals a day in a family environment.

Red Deer Catholic Schools offer so many activities within our school community:
  • French Immersion, Japanese and Spanish courses
  • Sports:  Baseball Academy and Teams:  volleyball, basketball, track & field, cross country running, badminton, tennis, handball, golf, soccer, rugby, wrestling
  • Fine Arts:  Art classes, band, drama, 
  • Specialty courses:  Robotics, Computers, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Accounting, Astronomy, Mechanics, Visual Communications, Photography, Food Studies, Medical Studies, Sports Medicine, Sports Performance
In the city of Red Deer, students can take advantage of:
