The Halton Catholic District School Board is a model learning community that provides exceptional educational experiences and services to over 36,000 students of all ages. Our School Board offers programs and services from Junior Grade 1 to Grade 12 and through to Continuing Education Services at campuses in Burlington, Milton and Oakville to students of all ages. Halton Region is a regional Municipality of Ontario, Canada, located in Southern Ontario in the southwest part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). It is comprised of the City of Burlington, and the Towns of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills. It is well situated between the City of Toronto, which is approximately 33 kms east of Halton Region, and Niagara Falls, which is about 72 kms west.

Students are placed with families who can provide a safe and secure home life. All host families are screened through in-home interviews and are required to provide a criminal background check and reference check.
CHN has matched thousands of students over the last 20 years and have a reputation for excellence and professionalism in their field. Over the past two years, DHO has earned a reputation for incredible student support and have received excellent feedback from the students and families that they have hosted.

Each school offers a full range of curricular and extracurricular programs which include a variety of individual and team athletics, school bands, drama clubs, art clubs, photography, social justice, homework clubs etc.

We offer a variety of specialized academic programs which include French Immersion, Dual Credit, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and Specialized High Skills Majors to complement a variety of course offerings that include robotics, engineering, business, culinary arts, visual arts, music, dance, physical education, science, and math.
