The homestay experience is an important part of the North Okanagan-Shuswap International Student Program.  Our goal is to arrange a friendly Canadian family for you to live with during your stay in our area. We carefully screen families to find safe, comfortable and happy home environments where you will enjoy 3 meals every day and a furnished bedroom. All homestay families must go through our rigorous screening process, which includes personal interviews, a home inspection, and reference checks.

With a moderate climate producing wonderfully warm spring weather, beautifully hot and sunny summers, mild autumns and temperate winters, the North Okanagan-Shuswap boasts an abundance and variety of world-class recreational activities.
