Huron-Perth CDSB is located in Southwestern Ontario. It is approximately a one and half hour drive from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The Board encompasses historic Goderich along the Lake Huron shoreline with many picturesque towns and villages dotted throughout the rich productive agricultural land of the counties. The eastern boundaries of our school system encompass the beautiful towns of Listowel, Mitchell, and St. Marys, and numerous beloved rural communities in between. At the southerly end, Stratford anchors Perth county and is one of Ontario’s finest arts towns with live theatre, beautiful gardens, and historical buildings. There is always something to do and see in the region all year round.

Exploring the culinary scene is an adventure that locals and visitors love to take in. People come to enjoy the many food festivals, Perth County Bakery Trail and Stratford’s Chocolate Trail which features a different sweet treat at each stop.

The area boasts some great recreational facilities where students and community members take advantage of the seasons to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, activities, and adventures.

The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board works closely with Muskoka Language International (MLI) to support international students with safe, caring, and friendly accommodations.  Families are carefully screened and selected and ready to provide a welcoming environment and the support necessary to be successful in school.  All homestay families are usually within a short distance of the school.

HPCDSB students have the ability to participate in a wide variety of competitive sports including: Basketball, Volleyball, Cross-country running, Nordic skiing, Golf, Track and Field, Badminton, Curling, Swimming, Rugby, Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Soccer and Tennis.
