Our school district is in British Columbia, located on Canada’s stunning west coast. This region is renowned for its diverse landscapes, including mountains perfect for skiing or hiking, lush forests, beautiful beaches ideal for swimming and water sports, and vibrant, cosmopolitan cities where you can shop or spend time with friends.

Our two schools that welcome international students are in Vancouver and North Vancouver, both of which offer a variety of activities.

Our international students, aged 13 to 18, are hosted by welcoming and caring homestay families. While living with a friendly host family, students learn about Canadian culture, lifestyle, and expectations. They are provided with a private bedroom and three meals a day. Custodianship is managed by our local Homestay partners.

Clubs and committees:

The International students will have a choice of more than 20 clubs and committees that include Professional Development, Drama, Dance Committee, Robotics Club, Black History, Wellness Committee, Arts Week, Prom Committee, Model United Nations Club, Green Committee, etc.

Sports teams:

The International students will be able to join competitive sports teams for each school level that include Track and field (running, jumping, and throwing events), badminton, basketball, cross-country, ultimate frisbee, wrestling, rugby, soccer, and volleyball. The extracurricular sports program is very competitive within the league and at the provincial level. We regularly have participants in provincial championships in several sports and individual disciplines.

Cultural and sports activities in French:

The Conseil scolaire francophone organizes activities in French to bring the CSF schools together. These include Volleyball, “Franco-Cuistots” (cooking competition), Adventure camps (grade 8), Triathlon (grade 9 to 12), Graduation ceremony (grade 12), etc.

International students can also participate in extra-curricular sports activities such as skiing, canoeing, sailing, or in varied cultural and intercultural activities.
