Palliser Regional Schools operates high school programs across southern Alberta from the City of Calgary (population 1.14 million) to communities just a short drive from the City of Lethbridge (population 90,000). Our safe and caring schools are the centre of their communities and excel in offering a wide range of cultural and recreational opportunities.
We run our own high-quality homestay program, where we ensure students are placed in a caring and nurturing environment. Our host families support the students as they are encouraged to participate in all that a truly Canadian experience has to offer. Families interested in hosting international students must go through a rigorous selection process. We promote our host family program within our communities and as such are able to offer a variety of experiences ranging from rural to urban in nature.
We provide an enriching student-centered learning environment. A wide range of extra- curricular activities enrich the student experience and create opportunities for new friendships and life changing opportunities. These activities include a wide variety of clubs such as band, choir, chess, leadership, drama, robotics, and student government. This is complemented by a diverse extracurricular athletics offering including activities like football, basketball, softball, volleyball, curling, and rugby.
