Grande Yellowhead Public School Division high schools follow the Alberta curriculum, which is recognized around the world for preparing students for an exciting and successful future. Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) includes five communities located between the capital city of Edmonton, and the Canadian Rocky Mountains and Jasper National Park. GYPSD includes 17 schools, 5,000 students and 600 staff. Our highlights include: very few international students, competitive fees, small, safe communities and schools. Our proximity to a national park and the mountains allows us to provide numerous outdoor education and recreational opportunities. We have cutting-edge technology with modern computer labs, SmartBoards, video-conferencing, and high-speed connections. Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) includes five communities located between the capital city of Edmonton, and the Canadian Rocky Mountains and Jasper National Park. 

Grande Yellowhead Public School Division places international students who come to GYPSD with carefully screened host families, who are enthusiastic to have the students become a member of their families.

We have highly qualified teachers offering a variety of optional courses including Drama, Art, Music, Media Studies, Wildlife Studies and Outdoor Education, Information Technology, Career and Technology Studies, Physical Education and French Immersion. There are numerous extra curricular cultural clubs and sports activities and teams.
