Edmonton Public Schools’ International Student Program welcomes and educates international students from around the world. We have over 25 years of experience in serving international students with comprehensive academic programming that includes a strong emphasis on preparation for university and post-secondary entrance. Our schools offer exciting choices in courses and activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of all of our students.
In addition to the rigorous Alberta Curriculum, we offer an Advanced Placement (AP) Program. Students may receive credits for exceptional performance in this program that can be applied towards entry into post-secondary institutions worldwide. English as a Second Language (ESL) support is available at all levels; communication skills through reading, writing, listening and speaking are emphasized, as students are introduced to the rules and principles of the English language. Edmonton Public also offers a wide range of optional courses – students may choose from over 100 options based on their talents and interests.
