The Conseil scolaire catholique Providence ( Csc Providence) serves students spread over an area of over 28 819 km2 which includes the Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Lambton / Sarnia, London-Middlesex-Elgin, Woodstock / Oxford, Huron-Perth Grey-Bruce. Our extensive network of 23 elementary schools and 7 French secondary schools allows more than 10000 students to feel part of a great school community of enthusiastic French language and to enjoy top quality education in a rich learning environment, equitable and inclusive.
The Ontario education system is considered one of the best in the world; owns and maintains high academic standards and its staff is highly qualified. The Csc Providence strives for excellence. Our school board boasts a graduation rate of 97%; the highest over the 72 schools boards in Ontario. At the secondary level, the results of student test of the Office of Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) exceed those of the provincial average standing at 85% in mathematics (theoretical level) and 90% (level language skills). Students of the International Programme of the Conseil scolaire catholique Providence (CSC Providence) have two hosting options.
To manage the host families, the CSC Providence has a management agreement with the agency Homestay Network Canada. This organization allows students to be welcomed into families selected carefully. They will be accommodated in a single room and will receive three meals a day. They will be matched with families that meet various criteria (language, religion, etc.) and who will support them during their studies.
By notarized agreement, a staff member of Canada Homestay Network will act as the legal guardian of the student.

A student may choose to live with a member of his family (father, mother, sister, brother, grandparents) or with a member of his immediate family (uncle, aunt, cousin), if the member meets the following conditions : be over 25 years old, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and agree to act as the legal guardian of the student.
This option must, however, be accepted in advance by the CSC Providence, which will issue a letter of acceptance only if the living environment of the student proves to be safe and suitable for their welfare and development.
Our schools offer a wide range of programs to meet the needs of all students and we encourage our international students to get involved as it is a great way to meet new friends and become involved outside the academic setting.
The school board offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities are taught by highly qualified professionals, including jazz, drama, sports, various languages, robotics, etc.
Every high schools also offers the Hockey Academy program, a program authorized by Hockey Canada for all calibers of players and all skill levels.
Moreover, sports teams stand out in many disciplines, including basketball, swimming, soccer, dance, hockey and football.
