Black Gold, includes two cities, Leduc and Beaumont, as well as five rural communities that give students a wide range of Canadian experiences. Our supervised Homestay program matches students with families in the community. Students become a member of the family they live with and part of the community they live in. Students thrive in this safe, supportive, English-speaking environment. Homestay families are committed to include international students in meaningful family time including meals, conversations, and excursions. A host family provides more than just a room; they create a unique and immersive way to connect with a Canadian family, learn about their culture, and form unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
Nature Enthusiasts can explore the stunning landscape year-round by hiking, biking or quadding during summer months and snowshoeing, cross country and downhill skilling or snowmobiling in the winter.
